This place was recommended to us, and we can see why. The Gourmet Burger was easily one of the best burgers I've ever had - perfect blend of sweet and savory with the goat cheese and cranberries and nuts. My wife has the Taste and See very burger and said it was excellent. Service is prompt and congenial, start seen to enjoy what they are doing.
Traveled from Fredericton with my Wife and and another friend for the annual local flea market and decided we’d try a restaurant in town instead of getting generic greasy food from the food trucks and this place did not disappoint, all 3 of us really enjoyed our meals, Pictured was my meal, the Susstown burger was so good and is better than any burger I’ve had in Fredericton, Hands down. the Poutine also did not disappoint. The kitchen is open to the dining room which is nice as you can see the cleanliness of the cook station . We did have to wait longer than normal for our food but they were really busy and the 5 ladies in the kitchen were not slacking by any means and were firing out other amazing looking dishes within minutes of one and other (Every other dish looked delicious) 5 stars all day long. Would highly recommend and will definitely be stopping to eat here every time we visit Sussex. Thanks again ladies , great job.
Just had supper there and was very pleased. Great staff and food was delicious. I had crispy chicken poutine and was stuffed. Only downside for some might be that it's unlicensed and doesn't serve beer etc. I was fine with it. Definitely will try the place again if in the area.
This is our first time being here, so was a little apprehensive. I ordered the skillet, and my wife ordered the traditional breakfast #3. I had initially thought that the price for the skillet was a bit steep, until it was delivered. It was a huge skillet compared to others that I've had. I can usually finish a skillet, but am ashamed to say I couldn't this one, lol. My wife did state the bigger potato slices were a bit undercooked, and our server said she would pass the message along. The only other complaint I had, and it doesn't change my rating, is that there was no padding on the benches, but the food more than made up for it. If you're ever in Sussex, try this place out, well worth it.
My daughter and I tried to go to another place, but it was fully booked and recommended Taste and See and we lucked out. Excellent lunch and awesome staff. Will definitely go again!
Best spot to eat in town! Absolutely delicious! Flavor 10/10 Presentation 10/10 Service 10/10 We has to wait 10 minutes for a seat, but it was lunch on Saturday. 100% will be back! Peanut butter burger and crispy chicken salad. So good!

LOVE this restaurant! We were at the Sussex flea market and decided to check this place for supper and it did not disappoint!! Food was 10/10 My daughter and I each got a different burger, split and shared. "Don't be Jelly" Burger had red pepper jelly and honey cream cheese, I loved everything about this, the flavor was on point and I would definitely get it again The Sus-Town burger was also very delicious, had a little kick to it but not too much. My mother got the Chicken Pickle Kieser, she said it was messy but really delicious! We also tried the dill pickle poutine! Great flavor, would get again. The servings were big and we all walked away full and happy! Service 10/10 So happy to stumble across this restaurant, I will definitely be making my way back in the near future.
It really doesn’t get better than this, the food is amazing, the restaurant is beautiful, service is top tier and prices are better than most the fast-food places these days. I wasn’t too hungry so I had the small burger and fries, best fries I’ve had in a long time and a nice classic burger. My husband has been twice for the poutine and plans on stopping in again to try one more variation while we are in the area. He says the dill pickle crispy chicken poutine is even better than you could imagine.
This place is amazing! The burgers are SUPER Top notch! Fries are amazing, even on their own, so the Poutines must be amazing! I gotta tell you, the Sweet Potato Fries with the Cajun dip is the best I have ever had in my life! I will be returning for those! Service was great! Restaurant was clean and inviting! It was reccomended to us as a 10/10...they were 100% correct. If you are within 150km, it's worth the drive!
